To manufacture a permanent magnet, high temperature processing is applied to hard ferromagnetic materials. A very powerful magnetic field then goes to work reorganizing the ferromagnet?s internal microcrystalline structure. Once in proper alignment, the internal structure works its magic, making the new magnet nearly impossible to demagnetize. It will hold strong attraction or repelling properties depending on which kind of magnetic field was applied.
